Beth Lyle

Mrs. Lyle has a long-standing connection to Annunciation Catholic School and Parish. She attended Annunciation as a student and is grateful to have returned to the community as a second year kindergarten teacher. She earned her degree in Computer Information Systems through Eastern New Mexico University and later completed the LEAP Alternative Licensure Program to become a licensed elementary educator. She is currently continuing her education through graduate studies in Teaching and Learning.

Before becoming a classroom teacher, Mrs. Lyle spent more than 16 years at the New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, where she worked in innovation and development. Her background in technology, data, program development, and supporting students and families continues to influence her work as an educator. She especially values finding creative and individualized ways to help each child be successful.

Mrs. Lyle believes in creating a student-centered classroom where every child feels safe, known, loved, and capable of learning. She recognizes that each student enters the classroom with unique strengths, needs, and experiences and believes that strong relationships are the foundation for meaningful learning. She strives to provide students with opportunities to explore, make choices, take risks, and develop confidence and independence as learners.

Mrs. Lyle and her husband have two sons who also attend Annunciation Catholic School. Her family's connection to Annunciation Catholic Church and School spans generations, making it especially meaningful for her to teach within the community that has been such an important part of her own life. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, swimming, singing, and baking.
