Dolores Freeze

Mrs. Dolores Freeze was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated from Valley High School and attended the University of New Mexico before accepting a job opportunity in Kansas, where she lived for four years. After returning to Albuquerque, she met her husband, Brent, and the couple recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in June.

Following her marriage, Mrs. Freeze worked as an Educational Assistant in a special education classroom serving medically fragile students. She spent five rewarding years supporting students and their families before welcoming her son, Cade, and then her daughter, Macy, a year later.
Mrs. Freeze has always been actively involved in her children's education. She volunteered for many years at their first school and continued serving when her family joined ACS. Her son, Cade, is a proud member of the ACS Class of 2020, and her daughter, Macy, graduated with the ACS Class of 2021. Mrs. Freeze later worked as a substitute teacher at ACS before being invited to join the faculty as a Middle School Religion teacher in the fall of 2021.

Today, Mrs. Freeze teaches Religion to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students and serves as the 8th grade homeroom teacher. She enjoys all the activities and traditions that come with leading the graduating class, but her favorite is the annual Passion Play that the 8th graders present to the school before Easter. She loves helping students grow in their faith and watching them take ownership of this meaningful tradition.

Mrs. Freeze is a member of Annunciation Parish and feels blessed to be part of the ACS community, where she can combine her love of education, faith, and service each day.
